NORPAC Granted Tier-III Junior A Status
Tri CIties WA – The USA Hockey Junior Council
announced that Tier-III A status has been granted to NORPAC
as well as Central States Hockey League (CSHL), Minnesota Junior Hockey
League (MNJHL) and Western States Hockey League (WSHL). The four newly
appointed Tier-III A leagues will join the Atlantic Junior Hockey League (AJHL)
and the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) at the Tier-III A
designation.
Coaching Staff
The Titans' organization is proud to announce
a three year contract extension thru season 09/10 with Coach Greg Sponholtz.
As the cornerstone of the Titans' organization, Greg has been instrumental
in building a solid foundation for our organization.
Assistant coach Dave Burks will be back for
at least one season and we are very close to a multi year contract with him
as well.
The Titans' management recognizes the
importance that integrity of the coaching staff, and the organization in
general, means when players and parents are deciding the best fit for their
individual needs.
Titans Alumni
The Tri City Titans are a drug free hockey
organization with a ZERO TOLERANCE policy. To help preserve the
integrity of the game and our organization, the Titans have implemented a
mandatory drug testing policy.
All players are required to pass an initial drug test and
submit to periodic drug testing for the remainder of the hockey season. A
failed drug test is considered a breach of contract and will result in
immediate expulsion from the team.

Tri-City Titan Billets A Home Away
From Home
One of the most difficult things for a Junior
hockey player is moving away from home. A lot is expected of these players
both on and off the ice, and this can create added stress and anxiety for
these young men. The many caring billet families make this transition easier
by welcoming the players into their homes. Often strong bonds are made with
the player and his family as well. These relationships will often carry on for
many years after the player has left the team. The importance of billet
families to the Tri-City Titans Hockey Team is immeasurable. Simply put,
without the billet families we could not put a team on the ice. They provide
an environment of support and trust. The Titans organization, the team
players, and their families appreciate the commitment, generosity and
dedication of these fantastic people. The Tri-City Titans organization would
like to give special thanks to our billet families for the 2007/2008 season.
If you are interested in becoming a billet for a Titans hockey player please
email or call Barb Hisaw at 509
547-1213.
